These terms govern your use of catchallemailverifier.com and the email verification service available through it, including single checks, bulk CSV cleaning and the REST API (the “Service”). Using the Service means you accept these terms.

1. What the Service does

The Service classifies the deliverability of email addresses using syntax and DNS analysis, live SMTP handshakes and provider-level identity checks against Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Results reflect signals available at the moment of the check. Mail systems are operated by third parties and change without notice, so results are informed classifications, not guarantees of delivery.

2. Your account

Keep your login details and API keys confidential; activity under your account is your responsibility. You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) and provide accurate registration details.

3. Free usage and fair use

The on-page checker allows a small number of free checks per day per IP address, protected by a proof-of-work challenge. New accounts receive 100 free credits with no payment card required. We may limit, throttle or block usage that circumvents quotas, automates the free checker, or otherwise abuses the Service.

4. Credits, prices and payment

Paid verification is sold as prepaid credit packages; one credit equals one verification. Payment is taken by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. Verifications returning “unknown” are not charged on single checks and are automatically refunded on bulk jobs. Consumed credits are otherwise non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.

5. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only with email lists you have a lawful basis to process.
• Comply with the email and marketing laws that apply to you (including the GDPR, PECR and CAN-SPAM).
• Do not use the Service to support spam, harassment or fraud.
• Do not probe, overload or interfere with our infrastructure or third-party mail servers.
• Do not resell the Service or share API keys publicly without written permission.

6. API

API usage is subject to documented rate limits (currently 120 requests per minute per key). We may adjust endpoints, formats and limits, giving reasonable notice of material changes where practical.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, design and content belong to us or our licensors. Data you submit remains yours; you grant us only the limited rights needed to perform the verifications you request.

8. No warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. A “deliverable” result does not guarantee any message will be delivered or read.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or loss of business. Our aggregate liability in any 12-month period will not exceed what you paid us for the Service during that period.

10. Suspension and ending the agreement

You can close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, suspected abuse or legal necessity. Free credits lapse on closure; unused purchased credits will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms; the date above shows the current version. We will flag material changes on the site. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised terms.

12. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country provides otherwise.
